The Open Channel

The Open Channel

As an acupuncturist I often talk about opening channels but this is a different kind of channel all together. In my recent podcast ‘The Only Way is Glastonbury’, I had the pleasure of speaking to the great polymath and old Avalonian – Palden Jenkins. We covered a number of eclectic topics including stone circles, ley lines and quantum entanglement but the subject that intrigued me the most was that of the inter-galactic channel.

Basically, as far as I can fathom, the story goes that there are a group of benevolent alien races known as the Council of the Nine. This group of beings have a special interest in planet Earth and are involved to such an extent that they don’t want to see us destroy ourselves. However, they also don’t want to impede too much on our own free-will so they are content, at the moment, to tinker away from a-far. All of this information was channelled under hypnosis by a lady called Phyllis V Schlemmer back in the 80s and 90s. Hundreds of transcripts were transmitted through this lady and were collected by Palden in his book – The Only Planet of Choice, Essential Briefings from Deep Space.

Under the guidance of ‘The Nine’ an open channel was set up, so that it would be possible for people on planet Earth to communicate psychically with beings from other galaxies and dimensions. This channel opens for half an hour at the same time each week at 8pm BST. During this time, a number of people, around the country and across the world, sit in meditation together with the orientation of uplifting planet Earth and bringing about a benefit to nature and all beings. They suggest that it doesn’t really matter what you do, join in without any judgements or preconceptions and just see what happens. Whatever type of meditation or practice it is that you follow, do that, at the same time as everyone else, every week. Just be there and allow the open channel to accentuate whatever it is that you’re doing.

Is any of this actually true? I honestly have no idea. But what I do know is that when my Mother-in-law was dying of cancer a few years ago, a number of us set a group of collective meditation and healing and completely by chance, we would often join together remotely at this exact same time on a Sunday evening. We based our group on a book by Lynne Mctaggert entitled ‘The Power of Eight’. In this book Mctaggert scientifically documents the remarkable healing powers of small groups of people who get together and meditate with a single intention. Sadly, in this instance we failed in our ultimate goal, but the connections and healings remained for those who partook in the collective.

And as for the aliens…well over the years I have seen more than my fair share of unexplainable phenomena in the skies. One pretty close encounter with a black triangle space ship back in the 90s led me to seriously question the narrative that we have been given. As we slowly begin to grasp and understand the sheer vastness of space, it would appear arrogant and almost preposterous to think that we are all alone in the universe. It’s clearly possible that there are other alien races out there and in all probabilities they may well be far more advanced than our own. And they may well have an interest in us.

Whether there actually is an open channel to other planets or not is not even really that important. What is important is the gathering together of consciousness. There is an international experiment underway called the Global Consciousness Project. Across the globe a series of random number generators have been set up that continually produce a data stream of numbers. What the researchers have discovered is that when a globally recognised event occurs, such as 9/11 or the Queen’s death, then the ‘randomness’ of the numbers decreases and instead they become subtlety structured and patterned. This multi-disciplinary collaboration of scientists and engineers have shown that when human consciousness becomes coherent, then the behaviour of random systems may change. Subtle interactions link us with each other and the Earth and help to bring order out of the chaos.

If you feel at all drawn to the idea of working with the collective consciousness then this may be a good time to start. The collective psyche of the planet maybe seen as one that is deeply disturbed, anxious and fractious. But it also has love, wisdom, dreams and creativity. Surely we have the ability to pull this consciousness in to a positive and up-lifting direction. A good place to start this is at 8pm every Sunday evening. You will not be alone.
